Justine & Tim: July 2015
Venue: Lizard Creek Lodge
After quite a hiatus we are happy to be back with regular updates on our blog!
To get things started we would like to introduce one of our lovely couples from last summer, Justine & Tim.
These two were married in July 2015 and wanted their flowers to have a rustic and wild feel with a vibrant color contrast to the other elements in their color scheme. Justine decided on bright orange, yellow and greenery to accent the ocean blue shade of her bridesmaids dresses and table settings. We admired the way Justine wasn't afraid of color and had a blast creating something that she loved.
It was a beautiful day for a wedding, Justine and Tim had chosen the Lizard Creek Lodge as their venue for a truly mountain inspired setting for their big day. We loved the stunning photos by photographer Kyle Hamilton, especially the shot showing off our much loved mountain range in the background. Justine was a dream to work with and we couldn't have been happier to be a part of their mountain nuptials.
Stay tuned for more real weddings, photo shoots, wedding tips and more!

Mother's Day Part I
Well we are in the middle of the Mother's Day Craziness. But I can't seem to sleep, so I thought I would post a few pictures from the shop today! Enjoy! (I've included a few quotes that make me think of my own mum!)
These pics are a kinda shameful (Iphone). Especially since I've just bought a nice camera- which I bought to use for my blog! I've resolved to put some time into learning to use my real camera... I'll do my best : )

If the whole world were put into one scale, and my mother in the other, the whole world would kick the beam.
~Lord Langdale (Henry Bickersteth)
Grown don't mean nothing to a mother. A child is a child. They get bigger, older, but grown? What's that suppose to mean? In my heart it don't mean a thing. ~Toni Morrison

If you have a mom, there is nowhere you are likely to go where a prayer has not already been. ~Robert Brault
